Oppo is keeping active its good run, by debuting the Oppo A77 midrange phone with a penchant for selfies. This is a device that follows up on the Oppo A57, launched in December. The device has a metal build and a narrow bezel display.

It’ll be available from tomorrow and those who preorder it will get a travel mug, pictured below and a case. The Oppo A77 is a 5.5 inch Full HD smartphone with a MediaTek MT6750T octa core CPU and 4 GB of RAM. There’s also 64 GB of storage here, a microSD card slot and dual SIM slots too. The handset runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow, with Color OS 3.0 on top.

On the connectivity front there’s 4G LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. Upfront we’ve got a Home button with fingerprint scanner, while at the back there’s a 13 megapixel main camera with F/2.2 aperture. The selling point remains the 16 megapixel camera with special Beauty features. Finally, this machine has a 3200 mAh battery and measures 7.3 mm in thickness.

It weighs 153 grams and it’ll be priced at $364. Available in rose gold and gold, this model sounds a bit steeply priced for a Marshmallow unit with a not so fresh MediaTek CPU.
