Officially announced on Monday, Philips S399 mid-range smartphone shows up again now during a press conference. We find out that during this conference its price got unveiled, more precisely, the phone will be available in retail for just $100, a price that looks more than accessible by looking at its specs.

Philips S399 comes with a 5-inch LCD display with a 1.280 x 720 pixel resolution, a quad-core processor clocked at 1.2 GHz, 1 GB of RAM, 4 GB of storage, a 8-megapixel main camera with a CMOS sensor on the back, a 2-megapixel front-facing camera and Android 4.3 JellyBean as default operating system.

On the connectivity side we have Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi and 4G LTE support. Philips S399 looks very attractive from both price and specs point of view. As it seems, more and more producers are coming on the market with low-priced devices that offer good specifications.
