A purported render of the OPPO Reno17 has surfaced, showing a redesigned rear camera island ahead of the handset’s expected debut. The image suggests that OPPO is changing the layout used on the Reno16 series, while leakster Smart Pikachu has separately pointed to a 200-megapixel main camera.
The alleged design places two primary rear cameras inside a pill-shaped section, potentially housing the wide and telephoto cameras. A third, likely ultra-wide camera sits to the right, with the LED flash positioned below. The outer camera surround appears to be slim and glass-like, although the image could depict a mockup rather than a final retail device.

- A 200-megapixel main rear camera.
- A dedicated AI button.
- New tools for video streaming and photo editing.
- Android 17 out of the box.
- A Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, a battery of roughly 7,000mAh, and a triple rear-camera system for the base model.

If the 200-megapixel claim proves accurate, it would represent a significant change from the Reno16’s 50-megapixel wide camera. That model also offered a 50-megapixel telephoto camera with optical image stabilization and 3.5x optical zoom, plus a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera. OPPO has yet to confirm the Reno17’s final specifications, launch timing, or market availability.
