Reolink plans to launch the OMVI 2i Ultra in the fourth quarter of 2026, combining two cameras in one outdoor, battery-powered security unit. A fixed 4K camera provides a wide view, while a 3K PTZ camera can turn to follow activity detected within that wider frame.
The system uses a feature called SyncTrack to hand detected subjects from the wide-angle camera to the movable PTZ unit. Reolink says the camera can recognize people, vehicles and animals, then automatically track them and adjust the framing to keep them in view. Users can also select an area in the app for the PTZ lens to face.
Power comes from a 10,000mAh battery, rated for up to six months per charge in certain usage scenarios. The OMVI 2i Ultra also supports a detachable solar panel with up to 6W output; Reolink says around 30 minutes of sunlight a day can be enough to maintain the camera’s power. Detaching the panel allows the camera and solar collector to be positioned separately.
Other features include PIR sensors, integrated lights, a siren and two-way audio. The IP65-rated enclosure is designed for outdoor installation.
The OMVI 2i Ultra extends Reolink’s lineup of wire-free and solar-compatible cameras, but shifts the focus toward coordinated dual-camera monitoring and automated subject tracking. Reolink has not confirmed pricing or wider market availability ahead of its expected Q4 2026 release.
