RugOne will unveil the Xsnap 7 Pro at IFA Berlin on September 5, positioning the rugged handset around a magnetic, detachable action camera. The square camera module can be removed from the phone’s rear panel and used independently, while the handset acts as its wireless viewfinder and remote through the Xsnap Go app.

The detachable camera records 2.7K video at 30fps, includes 64GB of onboard storage and is rated for up to 40 minutes of battery life. It can be submerged to a depth of 5 meters, while the phone itself carries an IP69K water- and dust-resistance rating.

Away from the removable module, the Xsnap 7 Pro has a 6.67-inch 120Hz display and runs on MediaTek’s Dimensity 8400 chipset. Its rear camera hardware includes a 50-megapixel main sensor with optical image stabilization and a 64-megapixel night-vision camera supported by dedicated infrared LEDs. Color options will be Classic Black and Sand Dune.

The device follows RugOne’s Xever 7 series, introduced at IFA 2025 with a detachable battery. With the Xsnap 7 Pro, the company is applying that modular approach to imaging hardware instead.
