Today, Samsung has announced a new low-budget smartphone for the Indian market, a device dubbed Galaxy Star 2 Plus. Unlike the standard version, the Galaxy Star 2, now we get a bigger display and a more powerful processor.

Samsung Galaxy Star 2 comes with a 4.3-inch WVGA display, a 1.2 GHz processor, 512 MB of RAM, 4 GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot, a 3-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, two SIM slots and 3G support.

There’s also a 1.800 mAh battery unit that should give us enough hours of autonomy. We find out that Samsung Galaxy Star 2 Plus is listed in India through the official e-store at a $120 price tag. This device measures 129.7 mm in length, 65.9 mm in width and 9.4 mm in thickness. It remains to see when this device will arrive in stores.
