In line with the ASUS and LG teasers out there, Sony has decided to also tease its new products, coming at IFA 2014. They posted a video on the web showing three silhouettes of devices, that are most likely the Sony Xperia Z3, Z3 Compact and the Z3 Tablet Compact.

The video is very subtle and shows people having fun, eating sushi, polishing their fingernails, or jumping into water. All we get at the end of the vid is the date September 3rd, that we already knew would mark the launch of the products. Sony Xperia Z3 is going to be the Japanese company’s flagship for the second half of the year and it’s expected to carry many of the features of the predecessor, but also make slight design changes. It will implement a rounded edge case for example.

The Z3 Compact is its smaller version, with similar specs in a smaller body. Sony will also announce the Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact, that will be its first mainstream smaller slate, unless you count the Xperia Z Ultra, but that was a bigger phone actually. We expect 20 MP cameras on the Xperia Z3 phones, waterproof cases for all 3 newcomers, Snapdragon 801 or even 805 on the devices and certainly 3 GB of RAM inside.

Let’s see if the UI has changed…
