For a couple of years now, Sony is launching 2 flagship devices every 12 months, trend that seems to continue in 2016 too. For this summer, the Japanese company is expected to bring two new high-end devices from the Xperia Z6 range, more precisely the Xperia Z6 and the Xperia Z6 Compact, phones with great specs and Android 6.0 on board.
Through a Chinese report we get to know today some of the possible specs that could show up on Z6 and Z6 Compact once announced on the market. Apparently, Xperia Z6 will keep the 5.2 inch diagonal offering a Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, bringing at the same time a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor on 64-bit.
Among other specs we might have 5 GB of RAM memory, 64 GB space of internal storage and a 33-megapixel rear camera with Exmor RS DRAM sensor, f/2.0 aperture and OIS. This phone will measure just 6.7 mm in thickness and it will offer support for quick charging.
On the other hand, Xperia Z6 Compact will bring a 4.7-inch Full HD panel, the same quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor and 4 GB of RAM memory coupled with 64 GB space of internal storage. Being a compact device, this phone will have a 7.9 mm thickness. From the information revealed, both these phones will be announced in May.
