vivo has released official images of its upcoming X500 lineup, confirming three high-end phones will be unveiled in China on September 21: the vivo X500, X500 Pro and camera-focused X500 Pro Max. The images reveal that the base model will use a noticeably different rear-camera treatment from its two premium siblings.
The standard vivo X500 places its circular camera module toward the left side of a larger rectangular camera island, with an additional sensor and LED flash positioned alongside it. The arrangement recalls the vivo X90 from 2022. vivo will offer the X500 in white, gray, black and a pink-leaning Dawn finish.
The X500 Pro and X500 Pro Max retain the large, centrally placed circular camera island associated with recent vivo X-series flagships. They appear nearly identical in the official material, although the Pro Max has a larger body and adds a physical button on its left edge that is not present on the smaller X500 Pro. Both are set to arrive in gray, white, orange and black.
vivo will also introduce the Watch 6 and Buds Clip at the same September 21 event. A wider launch for the X500 series is expected in November, but vivo has not yet confirmed which models will reach international markets or the regions where they will be sold.
