The series of leaks related to the Xiaomi Mi 5 continues, this time with a plausible launch date. Turns out that the new flagship is going to be announced on February 20 and start selling on the 21st. The product has been listed by retailer GearBest.com.

A separate Weibo post confirms those dates mentioned above. The listing from the retailer includes the same renders of the handset that have been leaked on the web recently. We get a front physical Home button, volume and power buttons on the right side, while at the back there’s the main camera with dual tone LED flash.

Also on GearBest the specs we’ve heard of are confirmed: a 5.2 inch Quad HD screen, 4 GB of RAM, a Snapdragon 820 processor, 16 megapixel main camera and secondary 8 MP shooter. Then there’s the 3600 mAh battery, a fingerprint scanner and the OS is MIUI 7 based on Marshmallow. Info about mass production having already started appeared over the past hours, so this sounds solid.

Earlier reports talked about a price tag of $348 for the 4 GB RAM/ 64 GB storage model and $303 for the 32 GB storage/ 3 GB RAM unit.
