Samsung has finally started sending out press invites for the debut of the Galaxy S6 meant for March 1st, at MWC 2015. We knew that this date was going to mark the debut of the phone, through a series of leaks, but this is official confirmation.

The interesting bit is the press invite, that has the tagline “What’s next” and the image of a curved silhouette. There’s also the engraved mention of the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2015 event in the lower right corner of the image The curve shown here seems a bit steep, so we could be dealing with a sloped device of sorts. It could be the same “trick” used for the Galaxy S II, which means making the phone crazy slim and having the camera integrated as a hump.

It also seems like a metallic case is shown here. My only problem with the invitation is that if it puts so much focus on the curved model, could the Galaxy S6 be the one curved, not an Edge version? I find it hard to believe that Samsung would risk so much, by integrating a curved side screen on a flagship, instead of an optional version, like the Note Edge. Still, this is all speculation and it will be cleared on March 1nd.
