Motorola has introduced the moto snap wireless charger at IFA 2026, a magnetic charging puck rated for up to 25W on Qi2.2 devices and up to 30W on select compatible Motorola smartphones using the company’s proprietary charging technology.
The charger uses magnets to align a phone with its charging coil and also works with compatible magnetic cases. Motorola includes a 1.5-meter braided USB-C cable in the box.
Motorola says the accessory is designed to operate at lower temperatures and includes overheat and overcharge protection. It also claims zero standby power consumption when no phone is attached.
In Europe, the moto snap wireless charger will also be offered in a bundle with an adjustable charging stand. The stand has an aluminum hinge, a silicone-padded phone support and an Alcantara-covered base, allowing the magnetically attached handset to remain upright while charging.
The launch extends Motorola’s recent move toward Qi2-compatible magnetic accessories. The Motorola edge 70 Pro has supported magnetic charging through its bundled case, while the edge 70 Max adds integrated magnets and Qi2 charging at up to 25W.
Motorola plans to release the moto snap wireless charger in the coming weeks in select markets across Europe, the Middle East, Latin America and Asia-Pacific. Pricing, including the European stand bundle, has not yet been announced.
