Motorola has unveiled the Moto Watch Ultra at IFA 2026, positioning it as its most fully featured smartwatch yet with Wear OS 6, LTE via eSIM and a suite of Polar-powered training and recovery tools. It is also Motorola’s first watch with LTE connectivity, allowing calls, messages and notifications without a paired phone nearby.

The 46 mm stainless-steel watch runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon W5+ Gen 1 platform, paired with 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage. Its 1.5-inch pOLED display has a 466 x 466-pixel resolution, an adaptive 1-60 Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of up to 2,700 nits. Gorilla Glass 3 covers the panel, while the watch measures 12.1 mm thick and weighs 51 g.

Health tracking includes heart-rate and SpO2 monitoring, while Polar contributes features including Serene breathing exercises with biofeedback, Nightly Recharge recovery analysis and Sleep Plus Stages for light, deep and REM sleep tracking. Activity Goal, Activity Score, Smart Calories, Energy Sources, inactivity alerts and workout intensity zones are also included, alongside a Running Coach offering guided walking and running sessions on the watch.

Wear OS 6 provides access to Google Play, Maps, Messages, YouTube Music and Gemini. Connectivity includes dual-band L1/L5 GPS, Bluetooth 5.3, Wi-Fi and NFC support for Google Wallet and Google Pay. The Moto Watch Ultra is also the first Motorola watch to integrate Motorola Qira with compatible Motorola and Lenovo devices; users can activate it by raising their wrist or saying “Hey Qira.”

The watch is rated IP68 and 5ATM, making it suitable for swimming. Motorola says its 550 mAh battery can last up to two days of active use with the always-on display disabled, while a 15-minute charge can provide up to 24 hours of use. The retail package includes two straps and a magnetic USB-C charging dock.
