Lenovo has introduced the Googlebook 15, its first laptop in a new category developed with Google. Weighing less than 1.4kg, Lenovo calls it the lightest 15-inch laptop in its lineup. The device uses a fingerprint-resistant metal chassis and adds a Glowbar on the exterior that shows battery level without opening the lid.
The laptop is powered by Intel Core Ultra 5 processors, with configurations offering up to 32GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. Its AI processor is rated at up to 47 TOPS for Gemini Intelligence features, including Magic Pointer for cursor-based interactions and Rambler, a dictation tool designed to remove filler words and format text even when the user switches languages mid-sentence.
The Googlebook 15 also features a 15-inch 2.8K touch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 100% DCI-P3 coverage. Other hardware includes a haptic touchpad, four-speaker Dolby Atmos audio, a fingerprint reader, facial authentication and a battery rated for up to 12.5 hours.
The Lenovo Googlebook 15 is scheduled to go on sale from October 4, 2026, starting at €1,199. The package includes 12 months of Google AI Pro access, 5TB of cloud storage and a Lenovo AI Mouse.
