Nothing is moving further into premium over-ear audio with the Headphone (1) Pro, its new flagship headphone. The model pairs a triple-driver arrangement with up to 46dB active noise cancellation, Bluetooth 6.1 and a claimed battery life of up to 30 hours with ANC enabled.
The three-driver system assigns separate components to different frequency ranges: a 40mm dynamic driver handles bass, another dynamic driver covers mids, and an xMEMS micro-driver with a silicon diaphragm is used for treble. Nothing also lists Hi-Res Audio certification, LDAC and LC3 codec support, plus Dynamic Spatial Audio with head tracking and acoustic profiles.
The headphones retain the cassette-inspired visual direction of Nothing’s earlier Headphone (a), while adopting more premium materials. They use a lightweight aluminum-and-titanium frame and a scratch-resistant glass exterior. Nothing says the headband is 10% wider than the one on the Headphone (a), while the ear cushions are softer and more flexible for extended listening.
A 10-microphone system supports the ANC setup. Controls combine touch input on the earcups with physical switches, including a dedicated Switch button for the Flat EQ profile. The Headphone (1) Pro is rated IP52 for dust and splash resistance, supports multipoint connections, and includes a low-latency mode for games and video.
