OPPO has begun expanding the Pad Mini Matte Display Edition beyond China, bringing an anti-reflective coating to the tablet’s 8.8-inch AMOLED display. The treatment is designed to reduce light-related distortion and give the screen a paper-like feel when used with a stylus.
The updated model retains the Pad Mini’s 2,520 × 1,680 resolution, 344 ppi pixel density and 144Hz refresh rate. OPPO rates peak brightness at up to 3,200 nits, while the tablet is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen5 platform.

- The initial global configuration includes 8GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB of UFS 4.1 storage.
- An 8,000mAh battery supports 67W wired charging.
- Connectivity includes Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0 and a USB-C port supporting USB 3.2 Gen 1.
- The tablet has a 13-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front camera.
- Its body measures about 5.5mm thick and weighs roughly 280g, depending on the region.
The Pad Mini Matte Display Edition is listed through OPPO’s official channels in India and Malaysia in a Lavender Purple finish. The tablet originally debuted in China earlier this year.

In Malaysia, preorders run through October 29, 2026, at a price equivalent to about US$857, with deliveries scheduled to begin October 30. Launch offers include a Smart Case and the dedicated stylus, while pricing and availability for additional markets have not been detailed.
