RedMagic has launched the RedMagic 12 Pro internationally, bringing a 185Hz OLED display, an 8,400mAh battery and an elaborate active liquid-cooling system to its gaming-phone lineup. The handset debuted in China last month as the RedMagic 12 Pro+; the international version retains most of its core hardware but reduces wired charging from 120W to 80W.

The phone uses a 6.85-inch BOE X11 OLED panel with 1.5K resolution, a 185Hz refresh rate and up to 5,000 nits of local peak brightness. RedMagic lists 0.96mm display bezels, a 16MP under-display selfie camera and an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint reader.

At its center is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6, joined by RedCore R5 and G1 companion chips. Memory reaches 16GB, while storage goes up to 1TB. Its AquaCore Cooling 3.0 system combines dual-loop liquid cooling, a 25,500 RPM fan, a larger vapor chamber and Liquid Metal 4.0 technology.

Other gaming-focused hardware includes 520Hz shoulder triggers, while the broader specification sheet includes Wi-Fi 7, Dolby Atmos stereo speakers, IP68/IP69 protection, and dual 50MP rear cameras: a main sensor with OIS and an ultrawide. The device runs Android 17 with RedMagic OS 12.
