Honor’s 700 series could push further into flagship territory, according to new claims from leaker Digital Chat Station. The Honor 700 Pro is said to use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, while the standard Honor 700 may run on the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4. Both phones are expected to launch in China in November.

  • Honor 700: rumored Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 platform, rear display and periscope camera, plus support for an external 200mm teleconverter.
  • Honor 700 Pro: rumored Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, a flat 6.57-inch 1.5K OLED display, a 1.72-inch rear OLED panel, and a 50MP periscope telephoto camera alongside its claimed 200MP main camera.
  • Honor 700 series: batteries of roughly 9,000mAh are rumored, with 3C certification pointing to wired charging of up to 80W. The Pro model is also said to support 50W wireless charging.

The secondary display is expected to serve as a viewfinder when shooting with the rear cameras, as well as show notifications. More recent claims suggest that the standard Honor 700 could also receive both a rear screen and a periscope camera, although its display size and camera specifications have not been detailed.

Honor 700 Pro

Honor’s dual-chip approach would position the 700 and 700 Pro above some midrange rivals expected in the same period. The vivo S70 has also been linked to the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, while the OPPO Reno17 is rumored to use the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4.

The Honor 600 series reached some markets outside China, but its Chinese and international variants differed in design and specifications. Honor has not confirmed the 700 lineup, its specifications, or plans for a wider release, leaving the China launch and any global models to be clarified.
