OPPO has previewed the Reno17 series in China with a teaser showing a cat-shaped outline on the phone’s rear panel that becomes visible under blue light. The lineup is expected to include the Reno17 and Reno17 Pro, with another China-focused announcement scheduled for November 9.

The teaser also reveals part of the rear camera island, which appears to retain the previous generation’s arrangement of two large lenses at the top. The illuminated finish may be tied to a rumored Encounter Cat version; reported color names also include Snow White, Ice Moon White, Cocoa Brown, and Starlight Pink.

Specifications reported by Gizmochina suggest OPPO may give the two models notably different size-and-battery combinations, with the non-Pro Reno17 carrying the larger display and battery.
