Acer is expanding its Predator range into higher-performance electric mobility with the Predator ES Thunder Pro, an e-scooter rated for up to 1,600W of peak power and up to 70 km of range. The model will be shown at IFA 2026 in Berlin before its planned European release in the first quarter of 2027, where it will start at €799.
The rear motor produces 500W of nominal power, rising to 1,600W at peak, with maximum torque rated at 32 Nm. Acer says the scooter can handle gradients of up to 28%. It uses 10-inch tubeless tires with a tread intended for more challenging surfaces, while front and rear suspension are fitted to improve ride comfort.
A traction-control system is among the more notable features, designed to intervene when the rear wheel loses grip. Braking hardware includes disc brakes on both wheels and rear electronic ABS. The ES Thunder Pro carries an IPX6 water-resistance rating and includes a daytime running light, rear light and RGB ambient lighting.
Its 70 km maximum range comes with a substantial 26.5 kg weight. Acer has not detailed the battery capacity or charging time.
The scooter also supports Apple Find My and Google Find Hub for location tracking. Through the Acer eMobility app, riders can check battery status and trip information, use an electronic lock, and adjust the lighting settings.
IFA 2026 runs in Berlin from September 4 to September 8. Acer has also announced the Aspire S24 and Aspire S27 all-in-one systems and the 799 g Swift Blade 14 OLED laptop around the event, while the Predator ES Thunder Pro adds an unusual mobility product to its lineup. Details on country-by-country availability and final regional specifications remain to be confirmed.
