Apple got into trouble after UK banned one of its commercials for the iPhone on the grounds of having not that true information for the audience. With other words, they lied.

The advert presented the new iPhone 3G model as being “really fast” and showed it loading internet pages in under a second. Several people complained that they have been mislead by this information which is not completely true.

Although 3G speeds can vary depending on the location of the phone owner, the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) decided that the advert must not appear again under the same form.
