The Allview A5 Duo is one of the latest releases from Romanian company Allview, that has impressed us with one or two hits before. This model was launched in August and it’s priced at $161.



The device comes with a 4 inch display, dual SIM capability and it’s meant for youngsters. It measures 11.5 mm in thickness, weighs 137.7 grams and integrates a TFT LCD 4 inch display with a 480 x 800 pixel resolution. There’s also Android 4.2.2 as the OS and a Cortex A7 dual core 1.2 GHz processor.

We’ve got a Mali 400 GPU inside, GPS and support for 3G video calling. On the storage side, there’s 4 GB available and 1.5 GB accessible to the user. Allview A5 Duo packs 512 MB of RAM, a microSD card slot, FM Radio and a Yamaha amplifier for good audio quality. We’ll be back with a full review of this affordable unit ASAP!
