AnTuTu V12 has entered public beta, bringing a broad revision of the benchmark’s workloads and making its results incompatible with scores recorded in AnTuTu V11. The change means new record figures, including more than 4.6 million points reported for the REDMAGIC 11S Pro+, must be assessed within the V12 generation rather than against older rankings.

The new release updates CPU, GPU, memory and UX testing. CPU workloads have been adjusted to better represent switching between high and low clock frequencies in everyday use. The memory suite adds dynamic latency testing under load, memory-fragmentation checks and I/O optimizations.

On the graphics side, AnTuTu has revised its rendering pipeline and added a Vulkan Cooperative Matrix-based test. UX testing uses new algorithms to evaluate rendering and system responsiveness, while V12 also adds support for Android devices using 16 KB memory pages.

AnTuTu has also redesigned the app interface, with layouts adapted for tablets and foldable phones. The company says the public beta is available through its website and app stores.

Early V12 results place the REDMAGIC 11S Pro+, fifth-generation Lenovo Legion Y700 and REDMAGIC 11 Pro+ among the leading devices. Those figures are useful only as the start of a new benchmark database: AnTuTu explicitly says V12 and V11 scores are completely incomparable.

AnTuTu V12 public beta announcement

Because V12 remains a public beta, its workloads and software may still receive adjustments before a stable release. The key milestone for performance comparisons will be the accumulation of results from a wider range of devices tested on the finalized V12 methodology.
