BlackBerry Curve 3G will debut on T-Mobile on September 8, for $80, as we’ve heard from Engadget the other day. Available in smokey violet and graphite grey, the handset will be accompanied by a two year contract and its most appealing features are certainly the optical trackpad and easy to use QWERTY keyboard.

Specs list for the handset:

Connectivity: quad band GSM and HSDPA, 802.11n WiFi, GPS
Memory: 256MB RAM, microSD slot
Camera: 2MP
Display: 2.4 inch, 320 x 240 pixels
