After this week’s crazy stories related to RIM, now we see a leak from the same company, for the BlackBerry Milan handset. This model runs BlackBerry 10 OS, a name that they had to use after losing the trademark lawsuit for the BBX branding. Here’s the Milan slider phone:

The device is surely interesting, when it comes to design and I’m very curious about the specs. Honestly speaking, the portrait sliding QWERTY design is dead and although people were excited when models such as the Dell Venue Pro came out, they quickly forgot about them… There are no specs available for the BlackBerry Milan, but rumors say that at least one new generation RIM model will sport a higher pixel density than the iPhone 4’s Retina Display.

I must also notice that the design of the handset combines the rounded corners of the BlackBerry PlayBook tablet with the bottom sharper side of the BlackBerry London handset. We expect a PlayBook-like experience on this phone, since BB 10 OS is after all a QNX successor, that adopts some of its features. I’m expecting a CES 2012/MWC 2012 unveiling of this phone, if possible…
