The ElePhone P7000 stunned everyone with its $160 price and now here comes ElePhone P8000 ready for prime time. This model is expected to get some solid specs, that have just leaked.

We’re dealing here with a phone that has a 64 bit MediaTek MT6735 processor, an octa core unit. This Elephone newcomer uses 3 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage, as well as a 5.5 inch HD screen and a 13 MP main camera. It has a 5 MP selfie camera and runs Android 5.0. It packs a fingerprint scanner just like the predecessor, possibly below the main camera.

The 4200 mAh battery is one of the selling points, but the design is every bit as surprising. It feels premium, with that metallic edge and the screen looks like edge to edge material. We also get dual band WiFi and 4G LTE, by the way. There’s somewhat of a LeTV vibe here, so maybe the two companies are related.
