EU energy labels have surfaced with battery-capacity figures for Apple’s iPhone 18 Pro lineup. The iPhone 18 Pro is listed with a 4,056mAh battery, while the iPhone 18 Pro Max is listed at 5,391mAh.
That would put the iPhone 18 Pro 1.7% above the iPhone 17 Pro’s 3,998mAh cell. The iPhone 18 Pro Max shows a more substantial 11.7% increase from the iPhone 17 Pro Max’s reported 4,823mAh capacity.
Apple has also indicated longer battery-life ratings for both models. The iPhone 18 Pro is rated for up to 34 hours of local video playback and 31 hours of streamed video, compared with 31 hours and 28 hours, respectively, for the iPhone 17 Pro. For the Pro Max, the figures rise from 37 to 43 hours for local playback and from 33 to 38 hours for streaming.
US versions are expected to use eSIM-only designs rather than a nano-SIM slot, as with their predecessors, and are said to carry larger batteries than the European variants. The phones are also reported to weigh 211g for the iPhone 18 Pro and 249g for the iPhone 18 Pro Max, while retaining a thickness of roughly 8.75mm. Exact battery capacities for the US models have not been specified.
