The freshest version of the Facebok app has just been submitted to the App Store and you should start praying for approval about now, if you’re a social networking freak, even on the go. Facebook 3.0 comes with 15 new features, most of which you’ll find out after the break.

The new Facebook iPhone app comes with a brand new News Feed, Events (ability to RSVP), Notes, Pages, the ability to create new photo albums and upload photos to any album. Photo zooming is also supported, plus easy photo tagging, profile picture albums and you’ll use a new Home Screen, in order to easily access all your stuff, notifications and search.

Notifications have been improved and you can even call of text people right away from the Friends page. Also, if you’re interrupted from typing a message by a call, you’ll be restored to the original message after the call ends. What Facebook 3.0 misses is the Push Notifications feature, that we’ll see in version 3.1.
