French company Wiko debuted this week a handset dubbed Rainbow, a colourful Android model pictured below. Priced at 149 euros, this handset is a 5 inch dual SIM affair with pretty reasonable specs.

Considering its hardware features, its price and size and especially the colourful design, I’d see this as a Nokia XL rival, only a bit better. This device will be available from April 7th in a variety of colors. Its specs include a 5 inch HD IPS display, a quad core 1.3 GHz MediaTek processor, Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean as the OS and an 8 megapixel shooter at the back.

We’ve got a front 2 MP camera, 4 GB of storage, 1 GB of RAM and a microSD card slot. There’s no 4G here, so the connection goes up to 42 Mbps in the HSPA+ version. Among the colors available for this model we’ve got black, white, corail, turquoise, violet, yellow and fuchsia. Funky color, right?
