According to a recent leak, it seems that Gionee will be the first producer on the market that is going to launch a Helio P10 powered device. This upcoming smartphone called W909 just showed up in GeekBench database, and we have the opportunity to know more about its performance, but also to know a few of its hardware specs.

In terms of specs, it looks like Gionee W909 will be some kind of upper-midrange device, one that packs an eight-core processor clocked at 1.8 GHz, a Mali-T860 GPU and 4 GB of RAM memory. We notice that the phone tested here runs Android 5.1 Lollipop, probably with Gionee’s own interface applied on top.

As you can see in the screenshot above, this phone gets 818 points during the single-core test, and 3103 points in the multi-core test. Thereby, the Helio P10 chip included here is pretty similar to Qualcomm Snapdragon 801, chip that got 951 points – single core / 2695 points – multi-core (Xperia Z3). Unfortunately, we don’t know how this device will look like, and not even when Gionee will officially unveil it to the public.
