One of Google’s members confirmed yesterday that the iOS app for Google+ has been submitted to Apple for review a while ago. The product is stuck in review mode now and all that’s left to do is wait for approval.

Erica Joy, the Google employee we mentioned also posted these details on Twitter, as shown above. This will be an universal app, it seems, running on the iPad and iPhone. Google+ has been available as an Android app for a while now, launching in limited field trial version early this week. The service has also been tested by some in Mobile Safari, so it’s possible to have Google+ on your iPhone, but with some limitations.

With the rate of adoption of Google’s new product, this app will quickly catch on as well.
