Honor has announced that the Magic9 will start at CNY 6,499 in China, with a promotional price of CNY 5,999 marking the Magic series’ 10th anniversary. Buyers eligible for China’s national subsidy program will be able to purchase the phone for CNY 5,499, a total reduction of CNY 1,000 from the standard price.

The company is scheduled to unveil the new Magic9 family on September 28, 2026. Honor CEO Li Jian announced the pricing ahead of the event, which will introduce a flagship lineup centered on performance and imaging.

Honor has already previewed a redesigned camera module and a telephoto accessory said to enable a 500mm focal length, placing long-range photography at the center of the launch. Previous reports have pointed to the possibility of two 200MP cameras and image-processing technology developed with ARRI, though Honor has not yet detailed the final camera hardware.
The series is also expected to use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 alongside Honor’s in-house H1 chip. The Magic9 Super Edition may add an active cooling fan, a feature more commonly associated with gaming phones, but these hardware details remain unconfirmed. Honor has not announced pricing or availability for international markets; the September 28 event should clarify how the three models differ.
