HONOR has unveiled a new China version of the MagicPad 4, pairing a 12.1-inch 3K LCD with a 165Hz refresh rate and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor. The model is distinct from the previously announced global MagicPad 4, replacing that version’s OLED panel with LCD technology and using a different Qualcomm chip.
The 12.1-inch display has a 3000 x 1872-pixel resolution, a 292ppi density, and up to 700 nits of brightness. It supports 60Hz, 90Hz, 120Hz, 144Hz, and 165Hz refresh-rate modes, alongside IMAX Enhanced, HDR Vivid, and HONOR Oasis eye-protection technologies.

HONOR says the tablet uses a graphite heat-dissipation area exceeding 37,000mm². Despite its 10,100mAh battery, the MagicPad 4 measures 6.29mm thick and weighs 537g. It supports 66W HONOR SuperCharge and is rated for up to 70 days of standby time.
On the software side, MagicOS 10 adds updates for Borderless Notes and HONOR Knowledge Workshop, as well as support for PC-style Android app workflows. HONOR also highlights direct transfers of files, photos, and videos across different device ecosystems, including compatibility with iPhone.
The MagicPad 4 starts at 3,299 yuan, or about $491, in China for the 8GB/256GB configuration. The 12GB/256GB version is priced at 3,699 yuan, or roughly $551. HONOR has not confirmed whether this China model will receive a wider release, potentially as a MagicPad 4 Lite variant.
