If you thought that HTC’s Desire series got canned, well guess again, as the Desire 530 is alive and kicking, having just reached the US. The product is now up for purchase in the States, being sold by HTC directly and carrier T-Mobile.

Priced officially at $179, the device also goes for $159.99 on T-Mobile off contract. Of course, you can also get it for $0 with 24 monthly installments paid after that. This model stands out through the micro-splash painting of the case and it’ll come to Verizon soon enough. Unveiled at MWC 2016, this model is certainly a modest midranger, one small notch above an entry level unit.

It packs an 8 megapixel camera, 1.5 GB of RAM and a Snapdragon 210 CPU. There’s also a 2200 mAh battery inside and Android 6.0 Marshmallow is the OS of choice. We get 16 GB of storage, a microSD card slot, 2200 mAh battery and a 5 MP front camera.
