The famous HTC One already received a big update earlier this week, one that took up 230 MB and brought the software version to 1.29.401.12. That update improved the camera and fixed bugs, plus it improved performance. And now we’re already discussing the next update…

This one will bring Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean to the famous flagship and also some nifty improvements. The software number will jump from 1.29.x to 2.x and there will be some extra information feeds added to BlinkFeed. The TV remote control will be upgraded and it appears that HTC will remove the feature that involved long pressing the Back button to work as a menu button.

Finally, one of the most desired aspects on HTC One, the Quick Settings notification area has been implemented and will be coming soon. It’s already available on the HTC One Chinese version, so it was only a matter of time till it came to the international version as an update.
