Huawei could use its reported September 29 Mate 90 launch to introduce a broader hardware lineup that includes a TV, speakers, desktop monitors, FreeBuds Neo earbuds and watches. The claim comes from tipster FixedFocus and remains unconfirmed by Huawei.

There is a separate official indication that a new MateTV family is in development. Huawei support documentation in China lists MateTV 2, MateTV 2 Pro and MateTV 2 Max alongside current models, with HarmonyOS 7 shown for the new entries. Huawei positioned the original MateTV as a large-screen extension of its HarmonyOS ecosystem, with cross-device content and app sharing. Existing versions have offered a pointing remote, while some variants support gesture controls and a stylus. Those features cannot yet be assumed for the unannounced follow-up models.
FreeBuds Neo and Watch D3 are less of a mystery. Huawei lists the earbuds with adaptive active noise cancellation, simultaneous connections to two devices and up to 6.5 hours of playback with ANC enabled. Their appearance at a Mate 90 event would therefore concern launch scheduling rather than a newly revealed earbud generation.
The unnamed collaboration watch in the leak is likely the Watch Fit 5 Pop Mart Hirono edition, a special version of an existing Watch Fit model that has already entered preorder in China. Meanwhile, Huawei introduced Watch D3 on September 2. The smartwatch retains an inflatable cuff for blood-pressure readings and 24-hour ambulatory monitoring, while adding measurements before and after exercise.
MatePad Air Z does not appear in the reported September 29 lineup, but Huawei had already introduced that tablet in China on September 24. The key unanswered questions around the rumored event are now the MateTV 2 range, speakers and desktop monitors, as Huawei has yet to confirm the launch itself or international availability for any of the products.
