Ice Phone appears to be a new brand of phones launched in France, with a handset dubbed Ice Phone Twist that’s shown below. This new model is a 4 incher with a very affordable price tag of 99 euros.

This device packs a dual core 1.3 GHz processor and it offers 21 Mbps 3G+ connectivity. Orange will be the seller of the phone apparently and its design seems pretty simple. The back camera lacks a flash and the case seems to be made of plastic. Ice Phone Twist’s screen offers a 800 x 480 pixel resolution and its CPU is a dual core MediaTek MT6572 processor, clocked at 1.3 GHz.  There’s also a Mali 400 MP GPU on board and 512 MB of RAM.

The back camera is a 3 MP unit and we get no front camera. To me this model sounds like a solid Nokia X rival, one that also comes with Bluetooth, WiFi and GPS. Twist measures 11.3 mm in thickness, weighs 129 grams and offers a 1500 mAh battery. It runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and it has a SAR value of 0.521 W/kg, which is OK by current standards.
