Indian device maker Karbonn released the Titanium S99 handset with Android 4.4 KitKat, available in its homeland at the price of 5,990. In USA it’s priced at $99, making it a very solid purchase.

This is a new budget smartphone in the Titanium S Series and it’s a dual SIM affair (GSM plus GSM). It runs the latest Android, features a 4 inch display with unknown resolution and capacitive buttons below it. There’s a quad core 1.3 GHz CPU inside, of unknown identity, coupled with 512 MB of RAM. The smartphone adopts a 5 megapixel main camera with LED flash and a front facing cam with unknown res.

Karbonn Titanium S99 comes with 4 GB of storage, a microSD card slot with support for an extra 32 GB and other specs include 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS. The battery is a 1400 mAh Li-Ion unit and the handset comes in black and white. There’s an extra protective silicon case bundled with the product.
