Today, in Japan the KDDI mobile operator announced the launch of a new smart device, this time a flip-phone designed for those who such a phone is still popular. Its names is Gratina 2 (KYY10) and comes with CDMA2000 network support.

In terms of specs, KDDI Gratina 2 brings a 3-inch WQVGA IPS LCD display with a 400 x 240 pixels resolutions, a 0.9-inch external monochrome panel, a Qualcomm Snapdragon QSC6075 processor, and a 8.1-megapixel rear camera with CMOS sensor.

On the connectivity side we have Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, a microUSB port and a 3.5 mm audio jack. Also, it seems that this phone can be used as a mobile wallet, and that we get water and dust proof certification (IP5X/ IPX5) and a 1.020 mAh battery. KDDI Gratina 2 will be available starting February 2015 in four different colors: white, pink, green and black.
