Officially launched yesterday, the new Lenovo flagship called Vibe Z2 Pro gets now a first review from the hi-tech.mail.ru guys that are offering a lot of goodies like benchmark tests, live photos with the device and much more. As you know, Vibe Z2 Pro is a true flagship device that manages to put in the hands of users some high-end features.

We get a 6-inch Quad HD display (2.560 x 1.440 pixels), a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor clocked at 2.5 GHz, 3 GB of RAM, an Adreno 330 GPU, 32 GB space of storage, a 16-megapixel camera with OIS that can record in 4K, dual-SIM support, A 4.000 mAh battery and a metallic case that measures only 7.7 mm. This device is one of the most compact 6-inch device on the market that weighs 179 grams. Lenovo Vibe Z2 Pro is available for preorder in Russia for $827.

Measuring just 7.7 mm in thickness, Lenovo Vibe Z2 Pro can be called the world’s thinnest Quad HD smartphone on the market. As you may know, right now on the market there’s also LG G3, a 5.5-inch device that offers a Quad HD display too. The case of this device measures 8.9 mm. You can see a photo comparison between the two devices below. Getting back to the Lenovo phablet, we find out that the 6-inch screen takes up more than 80% of the front surface.

The case of the Lenovo Vibe Z2 Pro is made completely out of metal, a material that makes the phone look very premium even if there’s some disadvantages like possible scratches and the fact that an eventual replace of the back cover could be a lot expensive. Looking at the ports of the device, we find a double bay for a microSIM-cards located on the side,volume buttons and a metal loc button on top, a 3.5-mm jack and a speaker grille at the bottom.

Lenovo Vibe Z2 Pro screen is an IPS LCD matrix that measures 6-inch in diagonal with a Quad HD resolution. This panel provides a 490ppi pixel density and a 532 nits of brightness level. On the hardware, this phablet uses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 chip (MSM8974-AC) clocked at 2.5 GHz and a GPU clocked at 578 MHz. Lenovo Vibe Z2 Pro managed to get 38.816 points in AnTuTu and 15.821 in 3D Mark.

It seems that the battery of this device offers up to 9.5 hours of media playback at full brightness.
