Even if Lenovo just announced the ZUK Z2 smartphone, the Indian market is getting ready to receive the ZUK Z1 handset instead. In just a few days, Lenovo will hold a special press event where the 5.5 inch phablet will be officially announced, phone that arrives with Cyanogen OS 12.1 on board –Â ROM that is no longer exclusive to Micromax products.
This smartphone brings a 5.5 inch Full HD display, 3 GB of RAM memory and a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor clocked at 2.5 GHz. Its hardware package contains 64 GB of internal storage (without microSD card support), and a 13-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone flash and optical image stabilization.
Inside we get a 4100 mAh battery, unit that benefits of the Quick Charge technology. It looks like that phone will be sold in India for a $275 price tag, a pretty attractive price while taking into consideration its hardware specs. How well this device will be sold, it remains to see.
