LG has received five Bronze awards and 12 finalist placements at the 2026 International Design Excellence Awards (IDEA). The results cover products ranging from the OLED evo AI W6 television and professional monitors to heat-pump equipment, air purifiers and the company’s CLOiD home robot.

The 17 recognitions are not awards of equal rank: five LG products won Bronze, while another 12 were selected as finalists. IDEA, organized by the Industrial Designers Society of America, evaluates entries across 20 categories including consumer technology, home products, industrial products and packaging.

The OLED evo AI W6 was among the Bronze winners. LG introduced the Wallpaper-style TV at CES 2026 with a stated 9.95 mm thickness and external connections handled through its Zero Connect Box. Also receiving Bronze were the Therma V Indoor Unit Series for air-to-water heat pumps, the UltraFine evo professional monitor, the height-adjustable Smart Monitor Swing with its movable stand, and the compact PuriCare AeroMini air purifier.

LG CLOiD was named an IDEA finalist following its CES 2026 debut. The wheeled household robot has two articulated arms, each with seven degrees of freedom, along with individually actuated five-finger hands. LG has demonstrated it handling laundry and interacting with home appliances. Its head-mounted display can show expressions in response to users’ voices and gestures, making its physical communication design part of the product concept alongside its robotics hardware.

Other finalists cited by LG include the ceiling-mounted PuriCare System Air Purifier, designed to avoid using floor space, and the 2026 LG gram Pro. The latter uses LG’s Aerominum material, developed with low weight and chassis durability in mind.

LG is also describing six product lines as achieving a 2026 design-award “triple crown” across IDEA, Red Dot and iF Design Award programs: CLOiD, OLED evo AI W6, Therma V Indoor Unit Series, PuriCare System Air Purifier, gram Pro, and xboom Mini & Stage 501. The term denotes recognition across all three programs, rather than three equivalent top-level prizes for every product. The W6, for example, earned Bronze at IDEA and Best of the Best at Red Dot.

The company also received packaging recognition for its xboom range and LG Sound Suite. For the more experimental products in the group, particularly CLOiD, the design recognition arrives before its real-world role in homes can be assessed at scale.
