A Swedish retailer has recently started taking pre-orders for the LG Optimus L3 E400 smartphone. This one is supposed to be an affordable handset, that might come next month at MWC 2012 with the LG CX2 aka the Optimus 3D Max and the new quad core Tegra 3 unit leaked recently. Here’s what the LG L3 E400 is all about:

This model looks stylish, considering it belongs in the lower price range segment and it features a 3.2 inch touchscreen display with a 240 x 320 pixel resolution and no hardware keyboard at all, in case you’re wondering. The device runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread, supports 3G connectivity, WiFi, GPS, FM radio and comes with a 3 megapixel camera, microSD card slot and a 3.5mm audio jack. It costs 145 euros and it’s available in black and white. No idea when the handset will reach the international market, but for this price I’m willing to wait another month or two.

Considering the size and price, I imagine this as a rival for the HTC Wildfire S and the Xperia Mini models, maybe even the Xperia Ray. Also, Samsung has a bunch of similar offers from this price range and Motorola as well, some even with dual SIM slots. Does this LG unit interest you in particular?
