Motorola appears to be preparing a battery-focused Moto G47 variant. A European EPREL filing for the Moto G47 Power, model XT2625-15, lists a 6,790mAh nominal battery, 33W charging and an IP64 rating.
The nominal capacity is substantially higher than the 5,200mAh battery in the Moto G47 introduced this spring, while charging is listed at 33W rather than 20W. A typical battery capacity, the figure commonly used in marketing, could be around 7,000mAh, but that number has not been confirmed.
The EPREL label also provides standardized battery and repairability information:
- 78 hours and 19 minutes of endurance in the standardized test
- Energy-efficiency class A
- Battery durability rated for 1,200 charge cycles
- Repairability class B

The endurance result is based on a regulated test procedure and should not be read as continuous screen-on time. Still, it offers a more comparable measure than battery capacity alone, particularly as the larger cell is paired with faster charging.
Motorola has used the same large-battery approach on the Moto G77 Power, which carries a 7,000mAh battery. The G47 Power filing suggests a similar direction for the G47 line, combining increased capacity and charging power while retaining the standard model's IP64 protection.
A preliminary retail listing has also identified a 4GB RAM and 128GB storage configuration, marked unavailable. Motorola has yet to confirm the Moto G47 Power's processor, display, cameras, launch timing or wider availability.
