Considering the affordable and huge selling LG Optimus One Android phone is already available on T-Mobile, Verizon, Sprint, Virgin Mobile, Cricket, US Cellular and MetroPCS, AT&T is the only major carrier lacking from the list, right? Well, not any more, if a recent leak is to be believed. Turns out that the handset will be sold via the carrier, that will rebrand it as the LG Optimus A.

The name change hasn’t been confirmed yet, but the specs are pretty sure to remain the same. We’re dealing with a Froyo smartphone here, one that rocks a 3.2 inch HVGA capacitive touchscreen, 3.2 megapixel camera, 3G and WiFi connectivity, plus a microSD card slot. No exact launch date has been mentioned, but around Easter time is a safe bet.

Now let’s learn a price or contract for it…
