Logitech has introduced the MX Keypad, a programmable control pad aimed at developers working across AI assistants, code editors and command-line tools. Each physical key can be assigned to actions in one or multiple applications, allowing users to trigger saved prompts, commands and repeatable coding tasks without repeatedly switching windows.
The accessory is configured in Logi Options+ and supports workflows including predefined prompts, code refactoring actions, CLI controls and compatible plugins for monitoring AI agents. Logitech cites support for GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, VS Code and IntelliJ IDEA among the available integrations and use cases.
Developed in collaboration with GitHub, the MX Keypad includes launch-day integration with GitHub, VS Code and the GitHub Copilot app. Logitech is also bundling three months of GitHub Copilot Pro+, redeemable through Logi Options+ by both new and existing Copilot users.
The hardware is designed to extend beyond Logitech’s own preset controls. Developers can build integrations through the Logi Actions SDK, while the Logi Marketplace already includes community-made plugins for Claude Code and OpenAI Codex. That software layer positions the MX Keypad as an extensible developer control surface rather than a fixed-function macro pad.
MX Keypad is available in Graphite and Pale Gray for an introductory price of €100 through Logitech’s website, with availability through local retail partners planned to follow. Logitech has not detailed a broader market-by-market retail schedule.
