After Google launched Froyo (Android 2.2) during the I/O 2010 event and hinted at the Android 3.0 release in Q4, we learn that most of HTC’s Android phones released in 2010 will get the new OS.

The older or lower-specced handsets, like HTC Droid Eris and T-Mobile G1 will be out of the update list, but there are many device to choose from. You get the HTC EVO 4G, or the more affordable T-Mobile myTouch 3G Slide to update with Froyo in H2 2010.
