Nokia 5230 users, we have good news for you: the device you own has just been updated with a new firmware, version 20.0.005. This low end touchscreen smartphone now supports kinetic scrolling and Ovi Sync (added to the desktop), courtesy of the software upgrade.

The music player has also been improved, while the GPS on the device supports a faster location tracking. Also, some of the apps have been updated and the firmware comes with the usual stability improvements and overall enhanced performance (takes less time to open/close apps).

This update is available over the air or by connecting the 5230 to your PC, using Nokia Software Updater.
