Remember the rumors concerning Nokia’s future tablet, dubbed the Z500? Now, the device is back, having MeeGo on board and it was spotted in the movie TRON: Legacy, according to Czech blog Nokia Mania. The Z500 was also mentioned by famous blogger Eldar Murdazin back in June, in a tweet.
The same codename was accidentally found in Ovi Store, so something nifty is cooking on the MeeGo side. Now it’s TRON’s turn to show Nokia some love, after being advertised in many N8 demos, on Canada’s Rogers YouTube page and many more media stunts. This is not the first time the Finns would use a blockbuster to promote a future product.
Remember when Batman: The Dark Knight showed us a piece of the Nokia 5800? Or when a mystery concept Nokia appeared in Star Trek (the latest version)? MWC 2011 will probably reveal more info on this slate…
