OnePlus has revealed the camera hardware for its upcoming OnePlus 16, confirming a 200MP main camera with a 1/1.4-inch sensor and an f/1.6 aperture. The phone is also set to use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen6 chipset, placing it firmly in the premium tier, although pricing and a launch date have not been announced.

The OnePlus 16 will also carry a 50MP front camera with autofocus. OnePlus is highlighting OPPO’s Lumo imaging engine for image processing, while Hasselblad-branded optics are no longer part of the OnePlus flagship formula and remain reserved for high-end OPPO phones.
Other previously disclosed specifications include a 9,000mAh battery and a 120Hz display. The design is expected to remain broadly similar to the previous model and to other recent OPPO devices. With the camera system now detailed, the remaining major unknowns are the OnePlus 16’s launch timing, regional availability and price.
